According to the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), “Americans 50 and older are worried about losing mental capacity.” Research also shows that socialization supports thinking skills and may slow cognitive decline in later life. Come and join Extension Educator Tessa Hobbs-Curley as she helps participants to learn about the connection between social engagement and brain health and to also identify other lifestyle factors that contribute to brain health at any age. She will also lead participants through intellectual exercises that will challenge their noggins!!
