Ambassadors Committee
The Ambassadors Committee serves as the Public Relations Arm of the Chamber. Their role is to educate members regarding Chamber services, create new opportunities for interaction between the Chamber and the membership, and create new opportunities for interaction among the Chamber's membership. The Chamber Ambassadors promote Chamber services to the membership, help identify potential new members, and solicit suggestions for Chamber enhancements from the membership.
Government Affairs and Transportation Committee
The Government Affairs and Transportation Committee monitors legislative activity at all levels (local, state, and national), develops and maintains relationships with area elected officials, develops the Chamber legislative agenda, and makes recommendations regarding policy positions to the Board of Directors. The Committee shall have members representing government, business, and industry.
Professional Development Committee
The Professional Development Committee is responsible for the development and implementation of professional development training programs to benefit Chamber Members and the community as a whole. The Committee will accomplish this by enlisting presenters, managing the implementation of educational material, and evaluating the success of their programs.
