About Us
Lux, LLC is the Galesburg-based creator of Lux Blox, an innovative linking block that curves, bends, and moves and encourages ''linking thinking'' to represent how nature creates. Two years ago, local inventors, Mike and Heather Acerra, designed and created Lux Blox with the help of a neighborhood whiz kid, a rocket scientist, an astrophysicist, and their entire neighborhood of children to play with and test their designs.
Lux partners with another local business, Bridgeway Inc., who provides an extensive list of support services ranging from customer service to order processing to order fulfillment. The services are provided by local veterans and persons with disabilities, an important feature of the Lux philosophy of supporting their community.
After Lux's national television debut on The Today Show, they have continued to develop, create, and enhance their entire business. In the last year, they have created a variety of new products in their Lux Force line, and designed a product specifically for a national big box retailer who is carrying Lux Blox on 300 of their test store shelves across the country.
