About Us

Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois supports individuals and families who are working to better their lives. Our vision is to be present in our community by anticipating needs and collaborating with others to give individuals and families opportunities to achieve greater independence. When you donate and shop at Goodwill, you are supporting our employment, veteran, and youth service programs. Our goal in the Galesburg community is to help the unemployed, veterans who need assistance, and youth who need a positive roll model. Ninety-nine cents of every dollar spent at a Goodwill store goes directly towards funding these programs and services that strengthen our community. Items that we are not able to put on the sales floor, often will go in our recycling program where we are able to keep materials out of our landfills. When getting rid of clothing, furniture, and other household items, please consider Goodwill for your donations.
