About Us
The Knox County Child Advocacy Center provides a safe place for children referred by law enforcement and child protection workers to talk about abuse. It can be scary for a child to go to a police station or talk with a child protection worker, so we have a welcoming, child-friendly office for them to come to where they can feel safe to talk about what happened in their own words. If a child has been abused, our office offers follow up services like case management, court advocacy, court preparation, free trauma counseling,
