Heading South out of Knoxville on Broad St. continue 5 miles on Knox Co. 8, turn east on Knox Road 800 N. then continue 3/4 mile. Look for a large stone with a sign attached marking our entrance.
About Us
Forged of Wood is Commercial Sawmill, and Custom furniture shop. Operating a large commercial sawmill and two modern dry kilns totaling an 11,000 board foot capacity, we saw and kiln dry Midwestern hardwoods into lumber and live edge slabs, stocking thousands of board feet and many species of lumber in our year round climate controlled retail shop known as ''The Board Room'', located 5 miles South of Knoxville, IL. We also design and build high quality custom furniture and furnishings for homes and businesses.
