Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia
This is a BYOBB Lunch and Learn Event (bring your own brown bag lunch) Alzheimer's is not normal a normal part of aging and it affects everyone! Last year, Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias cost the nation approximately 277 Billion dollars. By 2050 these costs could rise as high as 1.1 trillion dollars a year. Every 65 seconds someone in the United States develops the disease. Join us to learn about the Impact of Alzheimer's disease, the difference between Alzheimer's and dementia, Alzheimer's stages and risk factors, as well as current research and treatments available to address some of the symptoms.
