Knox College Earth Day 5k Fun Run / Walk

Join us in celebrating Earth Day by encouraging healthy living and an expanded tree canopy in Galesburg! 8:00 a.m. Check In/Registration 8:30 a.m. Gentle Yoga Warm-up led by Tina Hope 9:00 a.m. Race Starts No Rain Date This non-competitive fun run starts and ends at Turner Track on the Knox College campus with a route through downtown Galesburg. All proceeds go to Trees Forever, a charity that plants and cares for trees by empowering people and building community across Iowa and Illinois. Trees Forever helps communities with local hands-on conservation and tree planting projects by offering technical, planning, and financial assistance. To date, they have planted over 3 million trees and shrubs. Online registration is open through Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Race day registration will be available (cash or check only). Race fees are non-refundable and include race registration, refreshments, a raffle ticket for door prizes, and a t-shirt (with pre-registration).
