I am the Executive Director of the Galesburg Public Library Foundation, with over two decades of involvement with the library. My journey began 23 years ago when I first obtained a library card in Galesburg. I have been a patron, volunteer, and library employee, developing a deep connection with the institution. Recently, I played a key role in a successful capital campaign, securing $4.2 million to build a new, state-of-the-art library. I am committed to strengthening the Foundation's mission, envisioning the library as a vibrant hub of knowledge, inspiration, and community connection for future generations.

I was born and raised in the small town of London Mills, Illinois. I graduated from Spoon River Valley High School in 2009. After that I attended Monmouth College studying business and economics. I graduated from Monmouth College in 2013 and went back to working the part time sales associate job I had throughout college. I got the chance to interview with Midwest Bank and started there in July of 2014, as Universal Banker at our West Main Galesburg branch. In Spring, 2021, I took on the position of Collections Specialist at Midwest Bank and then in August of 2022, became a member of the Galesburg YPN. In August of 2023 I was awarded one of the 5 under 40 awards by the Galesburg Chamber of Commerce. In September of 2023 I became the membership chair for the Galesburg YPN. In 2024 I took over as Vice President for the Galesburg Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.
