I am the Executive Director of the Galesburg Public Library Foundation, with over two decades of involvement with the library. My journey began 23 years ago when I first obtained a library card in Galesburg. I have been a patron, volunteer, and library employee, developing a deep connection with the institution. Recently, I played a key role in a successful capital campaign, securing $4.2 million to build a new, state-of-the-art library. I am committed to strengthening the Foundation's mission, envisioning the library as a vibrant hub of knowledge, inspiration, and community connection for future generations.

Having been a stay- at -home mom, served as the director of multiple non-profits, and a self-employed business owner, I learned to prioritize where money goes. I want to help individuals and families build a strong financial house. I tell my clients to name every dollar that comes to you, otherwise, it will name itself as is walks out the door! Having your financial house in order doesn’t mean that bad things won’t happen, it means that if they do, you are prepared to handle it.
