Bridgeway Purchases 95 N. Seminary St. to House New Behavioral Health Crisis Services
Galesburg, Ill. – August 4, 2026 - Bridgeway has purchased 95 N. Seminary St. in Galesburg to launch new behavioral health crisis services, CEO Staci Danner announced Tuesday.
The purchase represents a significant investment in the Galesburg community and advances Bridgeway's work as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) to expand access to crisis care for adults across Knox County.
"We are thrilled to be one step closer to making this a reality," said Danner. "This is a much-needed service for our community and another major win for mental health services in Knox County."
The new site will operate much like an urgent care facility, offering walk-in services for adults in crisis. Individuals will be met by a peer with lived experience, screened for safety by a clinician, and provided a calm, home-like space grounded in trauma-informed care – an alternative to waiting out a mental health crisis in an emergency room. The program is completely voluntary; no one will ever be required to stay.
"This further demonstrates Bridgeway's commitment to strengthening the health and wellness of the communities in our region," added Bridgeway Board of Directors Chair Sally Vigezzi.
Bridgeway is currently in the planning and due diligence phase, and additional details, including hours of operation and an anticipated opening timeframe, will be shared as they are finalized.
