“We are excited to support Living Lands & Waters and to do our part to make a difference in keeping America clean,” said Mike Davis, owner-operator of the Culver’s of Galesburg, IL. “We genuinely care about our community and the families within it and one way we can do that is by helping keep our lands and waterways clean.”
Living Lands & Waters aids in the protection, preservation, and restoration of the natural environment of our nation’s major rivers and their watersheds. In recent years LL & W has completed projects in many states including Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota and Missouri.
Projects include waterway clean-ups, river salvage, trail restoration, tree planting and community awareness initiatives and education. While they are based in the Quad City area on the Mississippi River, their scope is indeed far reaching, as Midwest Rivers truly feed the world.
On Earth Day, Tuesday, April 22, guests can visit participating restaurant locations in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa to support this cause. 10% of net sales will be donated to Living Lands & Waters.
